Privacy Policy
Overview
GroceeList is built with privacy in mind. The app works fully offline — your grocery data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
Data We Collect
GroceeList collects minimal data necessary to operate the app and process payments:
- Grocery data — lists, items, stores, and templates are stored locally on your device using SQLite. We have no access to this data.
- Purchase data — if you upgrade to Pro, your purchase is processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We receive only a subscription status, not your payment details.
- Crash reports — anonymous crash logs may be collected to help us fix bugs. These contain no personally identifiable information.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not require account creation or login.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or sell data to third parties.
- We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone.
Backup & Restore
If you use the Backup & Restore feature (Pro), your data is exported as a file that you control — saved to your device or a location you choose (e.g., iCloud Drive). We do not store backup files on our servers.
Third-Party Services
GroceeList uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. See their privacy policy at revenuecat.com.
- Apple App Store — handles payment processing. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
GroceeList is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
